Thank you for getting back to me. The BIOS and Chipset now have the latest drivers installed, but still no changes, just still instant black screen when windows loads. As I mentioned in my original post, even when I try to reset windows (but keep files), but before windows can download the...
Hi,
I'm really in a stuck place and have tried loads of solutions to solve this issue but nothing's working. I'll try o keep this brief. Essentially this issue popped out of nowhere, I turned on my pc as normal, speaker gives one beep indicating no issues and I'm met with the windows log in...
Thanks for the reply mate.
I'm not sure on the configuration i.e. one kit and A1-B1 and the other A2-B2 to be honest, when I built the PC I wouldn't have thought about this and so theres a high likely hood i could have just plugged them in randomly.
About the QVL, Yes im pretty certain that it...
Hi,
I've recently discovered the XMP/DOCP function when researching how to overclock ram (Or just have it run at the speed it said it could on the box)!
I'm currently use Corsair Vengeance LPX, DDR4, 3000mhz and am using it in all 4 channels, so 32gb (4 x sticks of 8) and they're two separate...
thanks again. My goal is to make my PC feel more organised but perhaps to a certain extent the way that games install are just chaotic i.e. certain files end up in different place than others
Hi,
Since first building my PC, I've had two storage devices, a WD 1tb HDD and a Samsung SSD.
Over the years I've installed/uninstalled games on both the HDD and SSD, sometimes the same game on both at one stage or another, for instance at one stage The Witcher 3 was on the SSD, I then...
Its corsair vengeance, 4 sticks of 8gb. Definitely in right slots, i've never overclocked them or anything so think theyve stayed as clock which is about 2133hz i think
Yes I use a display port. To be fair 90fps doesn't look bad at all, in fact its really smooth but i don't always maintain FPS that high. I've just found that some games that end up going into the 60's look very choppy.
Sorry I wasn’t 100% clear, I’ve gone from a 1080p tv to a 2k monitor, my specs:
EVGA RTX 2080ti
Ryzen 2700x
32gb Ram
HDD + SSD
Mobo: Asus Crosshairs VII
I've gone from a 1080p 60hz TV to a 2k 144hz GSYNC monitor and almost regret it. i get higher fps now due to DP and 144hz, but its made 60fps look terrible, its really choppy. I do use a controller not a mouse and keyboard and dont know how much this can effect it but its made 60fps look like...
Hi,
I've recently gone from a 1080p 60Hz TV from a 2k 144Hz monitor (ASUS PG279Q to be exact). When playing on my TV, in pretty much all games I could play with high setting and in some cases fully maxed out with a smooth 60fps and the games would look like butter. With my new monitor its so...
Hi,
My question is pretty much what you read above.
Since I've been PC gaming I've always used a 32" Sony 1080p HDTV (using an HDMI cable). Most games I play will run at a really nice temperature, most recently I've played games like Batman Arkham Knight for instance around the late 50's...
Thanks mate.
So to confirm, if a motherboard doesn't have the BIOS updating function would that mean if you had a B450 board with the current gen chip installed, if you were to put a new chip in would it not work, because you can update it?
I hope you get my logic lol. Or would it mean because...
