The pc i gave her has a evga 800 watt psu i actuall used it with my card for a while but i had power issues when i went to 32gb of ram.
I spent a while researching last night and came across some discussions on a lv 38" thats out now, and a oled cx 48" that should be great pretty nice. I have...
hi all,
I have just built a pc for my 11 year old out of some old parts + a new mobo/cpu combo. Its a modest 1400 dollar build but most parts were from items left over as i upgraded my build. its your typical i7 16gb ram intel build with no gpu.
Long story short im trying to figure out if...
I may just wait it out, a few weeks or so, hopefully i'll see the fury's drop in price.
Mine is an original fury reference i think its got a slightly increase clock factory.
I think now its beeen replaced with a saphire nitro.
This is the GPU i was considering...
I have a sappire fury now, and saw the xfx fury x on newegg is cheaper than the fury. I want to crossfire since getting my new mg279q monitor im having issues with FPS in doom at max specs.
Thought this would give me the boost I need to get the FPS up more.
ive been in a debate for a while for what im going to purchase.
Im either looking to get one of the acer XB270HU and run 2 gtx 980 ti's, or i'll be getting 2 r9 fury's and buy the new acer 34" freesync monitor. Im leaning towards dual r9 fury's and the 34", but its hard to make that decision...
so i have a new question because im leaning towards the x99 boards.
between the asus sabtertooth x99, and the asus x99-a/usb3.1 boards which would you guys go with, theres about a 50-60 dollar price gap between them
for the mobo, I think im going to go ahead and get the asus x99a/usb3.1 intead of the msi. Lots of msi problems on this form now that im researching into that board some
Between a 5820k and a 5830k, do any of you think its woth the xtra 200 dollars to get it? From what im reading at this time...
that acer monitor seems pretty nice, I think I may go with it, Currently I game at 1080P with a 32" monitor, I think at 27" I will miss the extra 5 inchs. does anyone have a good 1440p 32"
So my old 775 board died, It was great while it lasted, but luckly my psu, case, and gtx480 are still working, but that being said I need to look into getting a new mobo/cpu/ram.
Im looking at 2 options.
Option 1 $749.00
4970k
asus maximus vii formula
16gb ram using an 8x2 ddr3 kit
Option2...

well you guys confirmed my thoughts.
im going to order the new mobo and cpu today.
luckly it appears my current processor, and mobo will bring about 250 bucks on ebay, so that'll take some of the hurt off.
i'll upgrade the gpu later this year maybe after the current ones have another price drop.
Ive been looking at prices of the saphire 290x gpus, on ebay. They seem really low priced compared to their price new. Around 350 vs 500 new.
Looking at the online reviews seems its on par with the gtx480. Is there anything bad about the 290x. I know initially there were driver issues, but...
