i'm having the same exact problem. when i first installed the drivers from the gigabyte cd, everything was fine. but i accidently clicked next when it said found new hardware and now it doesnt work. i tried to uninstall but it said i cant because its required to boot. im trying every driver...

yea i never realized that once i push the mobo up against the shield, there would be extra holes on the outside that could be ignored.. there are still a couple of screws missing in the mobo but its well supported on the ends and in the middle. thanks for your help
