i was thinking of upgrading my gpu from a gtx 760 to a r9 290x. i have seen forums say that a fx 6300 will bottleneck the r9 290. how big will the bottleneck be ? and would it be a good idea to get an i5 4670k.

i have sorted it by reinstalling windows now it works perfectly even on ultra settings :) thanks for the support

i have an amd fx 6300 and a gtx 760 oc gigabyte

when i play bf4 i have large stutters. so i had the graph displayed in the bottom corner of my screen of CPU and GPU. while playing i notice that every stutter that happen the gpu would hit the top of the screen ! and the gpu will stay their.

the gpu is at 60 degrees then stutters and dropes to 57 then goes up to 60 sites their for about 30 seconds then does it agian

my max cpu load in game was 85% and gpu was 86% with a temp of 61 degrees C

i am now on driver 344.60 and playing with everything on low. the game still stutters even when at 100+fps
