    RAM not compatible, help!

So i've fixed up an old dell optiplex 780 (intel e7500, 2gb 1066mhz ram, 03nvj6 motherboard), surprisingly getting a 2-3 second boot time with a SSHD. The motherboard supports 1333mHz ram, 4 sticks of it up to 16gB, CPU is 1066mHz FSB however so in theory with a 1333mHz ram stick it would...

    SSD to m.2 migration

I've heard an absolute tonne of stories about people migrating and having so many problems so I thought i'd just do a completely fresh install seeing as no data will be lost. Are those steps all correct then to install the m.2 and use it as my boot drive?

Hey, I had a quick question that I wanted some clarification on. I have just purchased a new computer that has windows 10 installed on an SSD, I was going to buy and install a Samsung m.2 drive and wanted it to be my boot drive. To do this I need to format the SSD using DBAN, install the m.2...

i7 6700K based PC build components selection help needed

OCD Tweaker the i7 4790k CPU is a different socket type than the i7 6700k and cannot utilize DDR4 RAM so isn't right for what this person wants but the i7 4790k is still a very decent CPU.

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/XKnWNG So that's the build I'm going to go for unless you guys have anything you think would be better or be best changed? I7 6700k build component query

I believe it was only 25 more watts compared to a 970, not sure about the 980ti wattage though. Thankyou though, I forgot all about the extra heat, I guess I need to invest in some more case fans, have you got any suggestions for the fractal design r5 case? I can put about 100 GBP extra into the...

    I7 6700k build component query

I've just found out that the nvidia gpus will more than likely be out after the time I need all my parts unfortunately... so I've done some more looking around and was wondering (as I'm a bit of a radeon sapphire fan) whether 2 r9 390s crossfired would be better than one 980ti as on paper two...

    I7 6700k build component query

I'll have a look at the non K cpus then, thank you. i'll have a look at the monitors too it's just I can't get too big as I need to take this all over the country in a crammed car so 24" is probably the largest I could go unfortunately. I've heard some good things about both SSDs, would you...

    I7 6700k build component query

Thank you both very much for your answers :) I believe I did mean the H60, sorry. After looking at that cryorig H7 I think I will be going with that for a cpu cooler instead.
