If you can afford 16GB, go for 16GB. It will be more future proof than 8GB. This is if you're going to play any other game in the future besides GTA V... But if you can't afford 16GB just yet, 8GB will serve you well for quite some time.

Make sure that each slot can take 8GB of RAM though. Say, if you have 2 slots, and the limit for your system is 8GB of RAM, then each slot can only have 4GB of RAM installed.

I should also add that the Warranty for my laptop ended August 2015. On Toshiba's website it only says that the new update adds more stability to the system if that matters.

Little update here. A reliable store from around here just got a 2x4GB kit from Crucial in stock, and it is compatible with my system. I just ordered it and should arrive on the next few days. Better spend more money on a kit to guarantee compatibillity than mixing RAM and risking the 2 modules...

Well, I think I'm going to take the risk and order that RAM stick. Let's hope for the best. I always have the 14 day return policy, no questions asked, if it doesn't works. I'll probably buy it next week, if not next week, then the week after. I'll post here the results.
