Hi I have an asrock z170pro4s motherboard and I want to buy this ssd SSD WD Green 480GB SATA-III M.2 2280 Are they going to be compatible?

My CPU temp non oc in bios are 78 Celsius and the voltage is 1.232 the fan is running full blast and my i7 6700k keeps heating I have an asrock z170 pro4s motherboard. How can I fix it ?/ Make it go at a lower temp at it's base frequency?

My psu is fine the motherboard somehow shorted with the case

So when I woke up I turned on the computer and it had no boot screen or graphics output the fans were running and my gpu s leds. It was strange because it was working fine so I opened it and got everything out of it out I started with the gpu (btw my specs: cpu: Intel core i7 6700k skylake...

everything was new and i found out that it was a faulty extension cord at the middle of the cable it melted and shorted on earth the pc was fine (the cable was hidden.)

My pc just shut off while on youtube My specs: asus rog strix 1070 ti i7 kebylake 6700k 4.00 ghz x2 8gb sticks of ram (forgot the frequency) my gpu was overclocked at +90 core clock +400 vram speed my cpu wasn t the clock was stable at 60 C Processor...

First i got the ram and cpu out for cleanning then put them back all the cables (msi motherboard) and when i press the start button it turns on for a little (no video output no code ) than shuts down help please

I have a ASRock motherboard if that is useful
