Hello thank you for replying. I have done all of this but to no avail when I start up with nothing it still happens and is incredibly slow.

So my computer has just got really slow all of a sudden. The startup takes ages, loading the desktop and I have to wait 5 mins or 10 for everything to respond on the desktop. It is perfectly fine in safe mode. The internet doesn't work properly so I have to go to safe mode and then restart my PC...
