Hello, I was wondering if it is a good time to upgrade from an i5 6600k (base clock) to a new cpu? I plan on mainly playing games and I will never overclock. Any suggestions?

The cpu is base clocked and I'm using a 1920x1080 monitor. Will these two work together?

So I'm a pc gamer and I'm planning on buying a ps4 since most my friends play on there and I want to plug the ps4 into my monitor, which is a 144hz. I know that I'm not going to hit 144 fps since ps4 is limited to 60, but im wondering if there is any other drawbacks to using it?

So I got a pair of Sennheiser HD 598 CS and a modmic for Christmas and I'm having a tough time deciding on what soundcard to buy. Any recommendations? I don't want any of that surround sound stuff as well.

Does it matter if I put v sync on but have unlimited frame rate on at the same time? Or what should I be doing?
