Makes sense.... Appreciate the feedback and the reviews.... I swapped out the stock fans anyhow to the Arctic P12 Max at 2000 rpm.... Better performance and quieter......
Update. PS arrived and it looks very similar to the PA as do the fans. However, it is definitely quieter, although I have a problem with one of the fans which is making a clicking sound.
In my opinion, the fans are pretty much worthless, the heat sink is nice. I will swap out the fans for some...
And here is the problem, your reviews are inconsistent Albert.
I read your Peerless Assassin 120 review and based on this review I made a purchase, however instantly regret it when the noise from the 2 fans overwhelms everything else in my office. Your review states that this cooler is quiet...
Pretty much a redundant card now that the 7800XT has been released at $499. The free copy of Starfield, just added insult to the injury. These cards are aimed at 1440P, so the discussion around RT is irrelevant as neither card puts out decent framerates with RT enabled at this resolution. DLSS...
Nice review, but there are definitely cheaper options in to the world of modded keyboards. Drop is not always the answer ;-)
For example you can pick up RGB Womier 87 keyboard with PBT doubleshot pudding keycaps, Gateron Silver speed switches and 3/5pin hot swapable base for less than $80...
@USAFRET. Yes, I tried to boot from the NVMe drive after cloning and no luck, received a bios error that the computer is unable to boot from the NVMe drive, returning a message, inaccessible boot drive, rom image not loaded, rom image access denied!
Cheers. Running Win 10 Pro with Gigabyte Z370 and 8700K... Having a few issues with the motherboard not being able to boot from M2 slots after a straight forward clone! I may have to contact Gigabytes support...
I was told that it would not be possible to clone (boot drive-Win10Pro) the SATA SSD to NVMe M2 as the drivers are different! Just checking here.... SATA to NVMe potential issues! Is this true?
I just received my Vega 64 Air and am still waiting on my waterblock to put it under water next week. I have a 360 rad and 240 rad in my system and a stock clocked Ryzen 1600x. This is my first AMD card since crossfire 290x's and have been excited as I have a new 27in Freesync 2560x1440 144hz...
I invested in Freesync monitor and now need something better than my current RX 580 to power it. I will likely just buy the Vega 56 once the custom designs come to market, or buy stock version and waterblock, assuming I can find one at $399 USD. People are using the increased power requirements...
Assuming the miners dont buy up all of the Vega stock on day one I have plans to buy a Vega 64 stock version and swap out the air cooler for an EK waterblock, however I am frustrated to hear that this card suffers from some coil whine, that will be more noticeable when the HSF is removed and...
