a msi gtx 970 is also good. it doesn't have backplate but can overclock very well. it also has a 0RPM feature which is very good. get a msi or gigabyte, if you don't want to overclock then the asus strix will serve all your needs.

I don't think my bravia has a display port, so better get a 1.4 hdmi cable and you should be fine. also I play games in my sony bravia. there isn't any difference between a monitor and a tv.

the hdd will be slow by maximum 10 seconds than the ssd. the i5 is the one to choose.
