Solved with a VGA (output) to HDMI (input) cable, not HDMI to VGA as the direction is important.

I like glossy too. My Acer Nitro 28" UHD is pretty close ("semi" matte), but my Samsung QLED 32" UHD (looks semi-glossy) works even better.

Windows 11 HDR seems to work best for any 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray discs (e.g. uncompressed) I play on my desktop. Otherwise, I disable HDR.

I got this (new, $150) on Sunday from Federal Express ground service. It made a 3,000+ mile trip (CA to CT) in 4 days. That's very impressive to me. It, the PNY NVIDIA VCNT T400 fits snugly, though there is sufficient room for it and the fan to breathe. Unlike my standalone 4K HDR UHD player...

@Third-Eye Yes, I saw the mini display ports. It was only $12 for a 4K HDR spec cable (unidirectional, mini display port to HDMI). I just need one for now. When/if I get a UHD TV (I'm using a UHD HDR monitor) , I'll connect my standalone, 4K UHD HDR player to it.

Thanks again for trying to help. This one has HDR, is narrow (looks less than 4" wide), thin (~ 1", won't hit the power supply) and not too long (~6", so that it won't hit the power supply connector on the motherboard)...
