UEFI won’t even boot to any drive. Works occasionally but not often.

A few details about your mobo UEFI(BIOS) would help. Remember half the data is stored on each drive in a simple 2 drive RAID0 setup in odd/even segments. As far as I know if you create a RAID0 array it must remain enabled in the UEFI to function. If I'm correct in assuming volume 1, 2 are the...

    Plextor S3C SSD Review

When one considers that the 850evo was released in December of 2014 and still dominates the price segment. It's remarkable that the others are still trying to catch up! I bought one(250gb) shortly after release for a lot more than they cost now but have no regrets at all.

Gigabyte Unveils World’s Smallest GeForce GTX 1080

Agree with Jasonelmore. There should be a law. Interesting that it's listed at 250W TDP but only has a potential 225W available with the single 8pin aux power+ board.

    Suggestions for $500 Budget Build???

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/best-pc-builds,4390-2.html A good build but I'd drop the i3 for a Pentium G4600. It's a speedy 3.6ghz, has hyperthreading, and is $40 USD less. Might allow for a more capable 1080p video card like a Nvidia gtx1050ti.

    Time To Upgrade!

If you game a couple 1080's or 1080ti's will yield a massive improvement. A $1500 platform replacement...not so much. I can't imagine a new platform under 1.5k(Motherboard, Kaby/Coffee Lake-X processor, DDR4 ram) would be much more capable than what you have now.

    Will my processor keep up?

Yes. It's 6 cores should keep up in nearly all games. The 6300, although somewhat outdated is still a pretty solid gaming processor. A 1060 should work well. But anything more (gtx 1070/80/80ti) might be pushing the CPU boundaries.
