Sounds like maybe your gpu driver is crashing, have you overclocked your gpu or is it running stock clocks?

It’s a long shot but I literally fixed a pc with the exact same symptoms last night by replacing the cmos battery. First try just pulling the batt out for 30 sec to reset the bios. If that doesn’t help try replacing the battery.

Seems like an ok chip so far, boots and runs fine at 5.1 with vcore 1.375. Gotta do lots more stress testing though

No I didn’t, it booted right up and I installed all drivers. I prob will this week because I want the os running off the news ssd I just purchased.

Well after 3 days of trying everything under the sun to overclock it finally started working. Not shure if this is what fixed it but all I did was fix the date and time in the bios and next boot I was at 5ghz finally

Well guys I messed up and jumped on a quick deal with Newegg for a 9700k ASRock Z390M pro 4 motherboard combo without doing any research. I knew the board was low end and is only meant to hold me over a few months until I buy a high end board but I had no idea the VRM heatsink was so terrible...

Have you tried reinstalling the driver? Is it overclocked or running stock clocks?

Go into bios and load defaults then test your game at stock clocks. If n crash retry OCing. Be shure to stress test using prime 95 small ffts to check for stability.

I believe that board had problems running with 4 sticks of 800mhz ram. Try adding the third stick and set them to 667 and see if it boots. If it does add the fourth and see what happens.

Your overclock is unstable. Did you stress test to check for stability? You would be better off overclocking through the bios, I just dont trust overclocking via software.

Have you tried lowering your bus speed back to default?

By missing the cable needed to oc the rx 480 are you talking about the 6pin power connector? If your running it with out that then theres your problem.
