Hey, i have a quest 2 with the oculus vr link (usb type c on both ends) and im curious where to plug it into? I have an aorus master z390 and an rtx 2080 super from MSI. The rtx has a var link port but i read somewhere NOT to use it? But when i plug it into my motherboard it sometimes registered...

Well the cable in talks was the one connecting to CPU_Fan on the mb, is this sensitive? I just got worried it might cause some issues down the road

Well i sorta just went balls to the walls and soldered it, turned the pc on, no problem in bios and windows :p quite risky but pc seems fine so far...

Yeah sorry bad way to say that question, but like theres 2 cables «glued» together i guess. And it wont matter which of them connects? Like lets say one is blue and one black, would it matter if black gets soldered to blue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Turns out my step dad has a soldering tool and knows how to use it, so i guess solder it and insulate tape it is the option i got right now, but my question remains: does it matter what cabels connect ?

So i cut the cable that goes from the h150i aio to the motherboard, and im planning on wiring the cables together by cutting off a little of the rubber and spin them together and tape it with insulating tape. Will this solution work out? And does the cables have to be exact or can i just wire...

i pulled out the gpu lowering the minimum to about 300 according to a calculator, but i have tried the different ram slot thing a while back, but will try again soon. thanks

now ofc i aint no expert, but i would atleast think its the rm850x? or am i missing something here, like the motherboard idk
