Looking at a couple Dell desktops both have the HD 630 graphics. The one with the i3 8100 is $52 less money than the i5 7400, just wanted to get your thoughts. I also can save $100 and get a Dell tower with the i5 3470 that seems to be loved by many but not sure what integrated graphics are on...

Looking for a laptop to stream video only. Found an HP that has pentium n3700 with the Intel HD 405 graphics. Although a lower class, how much better is this than say the older laptops (10+ years) that run Core 2 2.1 GHz with the HD 4500 integrated graphics?

Does anyone have a short list of the oldest generation Intel chip I need in a rig to encode/watch my x265 video. My current old laptop is NOT good! Does GPU even matter when encoding these video files?
