What are you using your PC for (work, gaming, etc.)? Whats your budget?

    Case Size/Type for Motherboard?

Its a BTX. its also a Proprietary Dell. Its very hard to transfer to a different case because of the "backwards" layout but mostly because of the front panel connector. That rectangular black box on the bottom right corner of the mobo (with all the pins) is the connector which differs greatly...

Will a GTX 970 Run UItra Skyrim With the RealVision ENB?

I have an Asus gtx 970, 4790k and 64 mods icluding Realvision and Climates of Tamriel. The games looks amazing on ultra and runs very smooth. My frames drop to around 30fps when I enter areas with extreme detail (Top of Dragonsreach looking down at a modded Whiterun, for example), but it only...

Computer boots but displays nothing. Is it possible i need a new CPU? (details inside)

Try taking the battery out of the motherboard for about 60 secs then putting it back in. Did you try updating your bios recently? This happened to me a while back back when I tried to install a bios update from an online site.

Advice on some upgrades, motherboard and cpu

I agree^ The 780 is a good card, but if you plan on upgrading to a 4k monitor, the GTX 980's extra vram will give you better results.

Which graphics card should I get?

A single GTX 970 will be a huge upgrade from the GTX 650. I have an Asus GTX 970 and I get better than PS4 quality all day on my 1080p 50" Flat Screen. Unless you're running higher resolutions and/or multiple monitors, 2 970's are overkill. Totally badass, but completely unnecessary...

    Monitor connection help

Not exactly sure what you're asking here buddy. The monitor ports on the motherboard will run on board graphics if your CPU is equipped with them and a Video card is not installed.

Will This Mini ITX Build Work?

Oh... No I was just looking at the specs. So it has one of those elbow things? I stand corrected. GPU should be good then. I would still check out Microcenter for the CPU though. I bought a 4790k for $280. Plus they do CPU/Mobo bundles that are buy a CPU, get a Motherboard for half off.

Will This Mini ITX Build Work?

Case dimensions are: 4.13" x 15.04" x 13.78" GPU dimensions are: 9.72" x 4.376" Unless the specs are wrong, this thing ain't gonna fit. Or it will fit, but good luck closing the case. We're talking at least a quarter inch of extra GPU sticking up not to mention about 3/16 for the standoff and...

Will This Mini ITX Build Work?

The GTX 970 will most likely NOT fit in the case. I would also suggest ordering the CPU from microcenter. You can save about $70 on the 4790. Or even bump up to the 4790k and still save around $40

Need HELP with a new build

The 3770 is an LGA1155 socket CPU. You'll want a motherboard with a 77 series Chipset, NOT an X79. If its just the 3770 and not the 3770k, you can go with an H77 mobo, since you won't be overclocking the CPU anyway...

Dell Dimension E520. Help with upgrade

First, don't listen to anyone who says upgrading a Dell is impossible. It can definitely be done, but it takes a lot more work than simply buying a new modern case and screwing stuff onto it. This is a job that requires metal cutting tools (Angle grinder, dremel tool or just snips) and lots of...

    GTX 970 Issue [Help!]

This may be due to the VRAM issues with the GTX 970. See :http://www.tomshardware.com/news/nvidia-geforce-gtx-970-specifications,28464.html It's quite possible that the fire effects on ultra settings- along with everything else that's going on onscreen at the time- are maxing out the card's...
