[SOLVED] Can you explain what's up with Logitech G513 keys?

I just bought a new Logitech G513 Keyboard, and I noticed something is different from the images I saw on the web. This is one version But I got this version Notice that number keys and function keys are half lit on the bottom image. Also symbols are centered on the top image. So why...

[SOLVED] Can I enable switchable graphic card between integrated GPU and dedicated GPU on PC?

I bought a used 1070 ti. It works very nice but I want to be real gentle with it. I was wondering if I can switch to integrated GPU for 2d environments (like how it's done on laptops) to save some power and life span? my motherboard is ASUS Hero Alpha VIII. I enabled this option in bios...

Question What does 255.5 physically mean for CPU current limit?

For 6700K (and likely other CPUs too) there is a CPU current limit option that can be set to 255.5 which means no current throttling But why 255.5 and not 256 or 300? What's the deal with that 0.5? So really what is the "physical" meaning of 255.5? Is it in Amps? Like If i set it to 100 does...

    Question Low BCLK, High multiplier?

Have you ever thought about lowering BCLK and increasing multiplier? Any success? For example 60Mhz BCLK and 70x multiplier to get 4.5Ghz instead of 100MHz and 45x multiplier The advantage of lower BCLK (if it works) is wider frequency range and lower power consumption when idle. There could...

Build Advice a mistake for AIO water cooling

    1. the manual says its the pump power cable, probably they did that because of mistakes like this, the Q-fan control could cause less power to be fed to the pump which is not good. so I think they separated the power source to solve this problem. i said "probably" because that's just a guess ;)...

Build Advice a mistake for AIO water cooling

I took a quick look on manual. It says • Connect pump power cable to an available SATA power plug • Connect pump tach cable to the CPU_FAN header on your motherboard • Connect each fan to the shrouded 4 pin connectors on the pump So you have probably three wires coming of the pump, one is...

Build Advice a mistake for AIO water cooling

I strongly advise you to read manuals of your AIO water cooler before doing this (I used Corsair H100i V2). this is the mistake that i made as a newbie and now found my stupid mistakes. If the manual says to plug pump cable into CPU_FAN header you should just do that. ignore PUMP header...

I play Startcraft 2, I had freezing issue in start craft 2, after 20 minutes it would freeze. at first i thought its the game issue I don't have graphics card installed, so I'm using iGPU of 6700k. maybe the memory pressure caused the issue so i did 8 hours...

Question Laptop overheating when plugged in (80c idle)

Good advices but i don't think cooling pad would help 80c temps :) Non of the easy solutions would help you like tuning software or even bios. don't hold your breath, It's time to get your cooling system fixed!
