Yes it is.I have it and it is good.It has 6 cores and that makes it very good for multitasking.I have used only Unity engine on it :( but it is a relly good CPU.But notice that the Turbo Core gives boost only on 4 cores(X4.18Ghz) and the other 2 are at 3.5Ghz

I have the same problem but on an older Asus mobo.I know many people with this problem on the VGA.I don't know the solution for this problem but I think it is in the Asus drivers. Try to find if the VGA is off by BIOS.
