[SOLVED] Monitor stopped working and PC wouldn't post

I am using version 4002 for my BIOS. The RAM is in the second and fourth slot cause that's the slots the diagram in manual showed for dual channel. I connected the displayport cable to the port on the monitor I was using before and got the same issue again. I am sure it's a bad port on my...

[SOLVED] Monitor stopped working and PC wouldn't post

I didn't know know if I should put this in displays, GPU's or motherboard. Since what I did seem to fix the issue I decided to go with displays. So I was dusting my PC desk and I saw some dust on my monitor cable so I took a swiffer sweeper and cleaned the dust off of it. I didn't unplug it and...

    Question PC won't POST ?

I just did that and it didn't solve the issue. All 4 cores and 8 threads are working though. Of course the memory is in single channel. Nothing else I can do. If he decides to get a new CPU and motherboard I will install it for him.

    Question PC won't POST ?

Again it's an intel CPU so it has no pins to bend. The CPU is seated correctly. The CPU is recognized by the motherboard in the BIOS. I imagine if there was an issue with the CPU it wouldn't work at all. My nephew said he wants to get a new CPU and motherboard anyway.

    Question PC won't POST ?

Are you joking or something? Have you seen the prices on Newegg? I wanted him to have a good PSU, a decent case and SSD for a boot drive. So when he decides to upgrade to better CPU with a newer motherboard he wouldn't have tp spend as much. It was actually $285. The most expensive part was the...

I usually set my monitor to shut off or sleep after 20 minutes in the windows power management settings. The one where you can choose when to put your computer in sleep mode and when the display shuts off. It worked fine just a day or so ago. It won't shut off anymore. I have tried putting...

[SOLVED] Why are the chipset drivers trying to make me install Adrenalin?

I think I installed the AMD chipset driver earlier so I could get the Ryzen balanced power plan. I didn't even bother to install the chipset driver from the ASUS driver list.
