Okay that makes sense, I did see the mb O.C. speeds. I'm not to sure about the IMC on the 5600x. Is it just figured out through trial and error ?

So if you wanted to use faster ram with guaranteed results do you need a mb or cpu that supports faster ? the mb and 5600x both say support 3200mhz

I was looking at my motherboards qvl for ram and they haven't tested any 3600mhz sticks yet
