First you need to change the cpu and after that may be SSD . SSD only makes the games loading time faster . It won't improve you smoothness of the gaming. You need a better CPU first . Then you can upgrade the SSD
Dude , just buy i5 8400 and gtx 1070 . It doesn't make any sense to buy 8700k and gtx 1060 . You can also save the money in cpu and Mobo to get gtx 1070/ti easily
Yeah it will have data but you need to format the c drive and install Windows for proper compability. So if you have any files in c drive, make a backup copy
