Thank you, Herc08! The problem was that the CPU cooler was not plugged into the CPU_FAN slot. Now that I switched it, the computer is almost completly silent, I couldn't believe it was fixed.

Right now CPU_FAN1 is occpied by one of the case's fans, the backsie one. My question is, should I switch them? or should the fan go somewhere else?

Yes, it's loud just idling, doing nothing, the noise is constant. I suspect the noise might be comingfrom my new CPU Cooler, because since I installed it it today, the computer sounds louder than before and it's the only thing that's changed.
