Unless you are playing Cities Skylines you should be fine for a while more, just overclock it because there is a lot of gain to be had, you should be able to get 4.5 GHz no problem unless you have a bad chip, Im able to get 4.8 GHz at 1.32V same motherboard too.

Just wait until February and buy Ryzen+ if it overclocks better it will be by far the superior choice. 4 Cores won't get you far today, and Im talking from experience. Edit: That will probably mean that they will come with higher stock clocks.
