Hello so i saw that my laptop asus x555l suddenly got huge temperatures and i could not hear the fan anymore. I opened the laptop and the fan was not spinning . I took it apart and cleaned the cooler but still nothing. Should i buy a new fan or a cooling pad? The cooling pad is cheaper.

I think i found the answer to my problem. I think the gpu was overheating cause i changed the thermal pads and i think they are too thick (1.5mm) and the old ones were 0.50mm.Cause i just opened my ccard and the cooler was not touching the gpu(cip)

Hello! So i have a Samsung SyncMaster 171s monitor. It supports only vga. Recently i bought a rx 580 and it has no vga ports so i tried a dvi-d to vga adaptor but it doesnt work. What is the problem here? The adaptor or the monitor just doesnt support dvi-d?

So i think i found what happens. I have a dvi-vga adaptor .I tried another gpu ,but this one had also a vga port , when i tried the gpu on the dvi port(with adaptor) exactly same results as with the rx but when i tried on the vga port (without adaptor ) it worked , so i guess its the damn adaptor
