I want to -- once and for all -- understand this discrepancy that is annoying me. From the screenshot, on Windows 10 Device Manager, under "Audio
inputs and outputs," you can see that I have the "Realtek Digital Output (Realtek(R) Audio), version 10.0.19041.1, installed on my computer...
Alright, thank you for the valuable information. I’m assuming g that restarting the PC will also not require safely ejecting since all the hidden processes are shut down?
Yes, it’s connected via USB Type C. But isn’t non-volatile memory not prone to issues if you physically disconnect the SSD without using the safely eject feature of Windows 10? Also what happens if you restart the computer? Should I safely eject prior to restarting or shutting down the PC?
I have a 512GB Samnsung 960 Pro NvME M.2 inside a ORICO Transparent NVMe M.2 Enclosure USB3.1 Type-C Gen2 10Gbps to M.2 SSD Enclosure that is connected via USB C to my Asus Maximus IX motherboard. I am wondering if I need to safely eject it from Windows 10 before I can physically remove it?
Although my Asus Maximus Formula XI motherboard comes with onboard Wifi and Bluetooth 4.0, I was having connection stability issues, i.e., connecting my Xbox controller or Apple Airpods Pro. As such, I bought and installed an ASUS USB-BT400 USB Adapter w/Bluetooth Dongle Receiver, but find the...
Why do PSU Molex cables generally provide than 3 Molex connectors at the other end? Is it because you can connect more than one device, i.e., D5 pump and fan controller, to one cable? Can anyone please provide a good resource that provides additional information.
You mean I should replace the power cable that goes from the PSU to the wall? What do you think is causing the strange noise? Is it only related to the cable? It wasn't making any noises with my previous build.
I've had the Corsair HX1000i PSU for about 3 years now and recently installed it with a new (water-cooled) build. However, I am noticing a strange buzzing noise coming from the PSU (towards the rear, at the back wall plug end). Should I immediately disconnect the PSU, to prevent damage? What do...
In one of my builds, I have an Intel Z270 ATX, ROG MAXIMUS IX FORMULA motherboard. It (apparently) has Bluetooth 4.1, however it is extremely difficult to get anything, i.e., a PS4 controller, connected to it. Therefore, I am thinking of purchasing a USB Bluetooth adapter, and wondering if...
I'm planning on delidding my old intel i7 7700k with the Der8auer Delid-Die-Mate. However, I'm not sure what's the best "glue," for the relidding process. What are your recommendations, i.e., a high-temp silicone sealant?
