I'm currently running an EVGA 2080 TI XC Ultra and was curious if id see any benefits to supplying the card with its own power. I have a spare 650W PSU along with 850W for my computer on its own if I were to try it. Looking to see how I can increase the OC on the card and move it to the max.

i have 144 GB of ram, about 4-8 each VM. I have two DC's that i want to control about 4 or 5 VMs each

I have a dell R710 with: 18x8 of EEC DDR3 RAM 2x Xeon X5670 2x 2TB sata HDD 1x 3TB sas HDD 4x 1 gbe ports with 24 port gbe switch 1 gbe home network

I have a spare Intel Pentium G4400 and it says it supports Z170 which i know is also Very similar to the Z270 chipset. Would this build work. Pc part picker says it does and i know most swear by them CPU- G4400 Mobo- MSI Z270 Mortar PSU- Corsair CX450 RAM- G.Skill NT 4GB 2133 GPU- MSI 960...

They seem to be so similar and i need a 5.25" drive bay for a future water tank for cooling. Is there any way i could just buy the MaterCase 5 front mesh panel with the 5.25" openings and buy the drive bay separately...

I did plan for this and my case does support 280mm rads and it supports at least and additional GPU. I plan to go for the full 360mm once i do an SLI and CPU coverage as well as a 120mm rad at the top end of the box

Thanks for the help. I was all ready looking to replace it since i was wanting to start a custom loop so i went with the alphacool eisbaer 280. I will definitely do an RMA to use with another pc build

I would say my H100i was good but it only lasted for 2 years. Could this be it being faulty or me pushing it beyond its expected life?

My h100i just went out after two years and i'm wondering what some of the newer and better options are? As well i was wondering if anyone had experience with alphacool, i have been looking at the eisbaer 280 aio.
