This guy wrote an awesome tool Ive used more than once just google guru3d.com uninstaller. still everytime I do an update I have to do a custom install and ensure I tick "perform a clean install" I guess windows 10 still has a few bugs to fix

Hi Im a bit late to the party. If you havent worked it out already which you probably have. try using Guru3D uninstaller. make sure you have the most update directx already on your computer. but probably all is irrelevant now.

Agree. If you don't want to pay for an operating system you should be using Linux or equivalent

I jumped from windows 7 to 10. I was the same as you I transferred back to windows 7 but then changed back to 10. after some driver issues I had to work through it all seems to be working nice. My advice is don't fight it.
