Have you tried turning V-Sync on? It locks the FPS to the same rate as your monitor refresh rate. Without V-Sync you can experience screen tearing

I wouldnn't feel comfortable with anything less than 500w, even though I would want to put 600w psu in it just in case. slightly overkill is better than not enough. SSD would save on power but not much. With PSU you really don't want to nickle and dime the wattage.

I dont think it'' get more than 200fps. Why would you need 200fps anyways? What you see is limited by the monitor anyways which is usually 60fps. You'd want to play with vsync on anyways to minimalize screen tearing

I usually run prime95 and furmark for 4-6 hours to stress the cpu and gpu first. Keeping a close eye on it for the first 30 min. If it passes, then ill run prime95 for 24hrs. Running stress tests also gives you an idea how good your cooling is. I've never gone higher than 61 degrees on the CPU...
