I am running windows 7 with a Asus Z170-AR with an i7 6700k. I installed windows with a disc but I can't get any drivers because Windows does not recognize any USB drives or internet through Ethernet. I don't know how to go on without getting drivers? Thank you to anyone who has any advice.

I have my CPU fan plugged into my CPU FAN spot on my motherboard because it does not reach the fan hub. All of my case fans are plugged into the fan hub which is plugged into the CPU OPT slot. No the XB270HU is the best currently on the market. The difference in response time is too small to matter unless you are a professional gamer.

I think I might have fixed it. My computer has not frozen up in a day now, all I did was take out the wifi adapter.

I would get a hyper212 evo + i7. If you ever plan on playing arma or gta v it will be worth it. Newer games might also use the extra threads and the i7 will be much better if you do 980 ti SLI.

I am running an i5 4670k with a 980ti. Games bottlenecked by the CPU are GTA V, ARMA games/ DayZ (every CPU bottlenecks them). Those are the two things coming to mind. They work great together, but if you have the extra cash grab the i7.

You already took out the RAM? Do you mean you took one stick out or all of it?

Are you going to be gaming a lot? If so take money out of the CPU budget and put it into the GPU budget.
