Question 2700x akk core 4200 1.2v where do I go from here?

yeah I was a little confused as well with that. I'm using ryzen master to check temps./volts and during cinebench run it the voltage doesnt move. But then when I restart into bios it says the voltage is running 1.4 and its set to auto. Ryzen Master might have an issue>? I'm using an AIO for...

Question 2700x akk core 4200 1.2v where do I go from here?

Hello everyone. I recently built a new system with a 2700x and was having major issues with heat, after watching jaystwocents do a very brutal forced overclock I decided I would give it a try and lo and behold, I actually got a decent OC on all cores and RAM at 3000Mhz at 1.35 with a max 76...

Question New to AIO - Instantly regretting the purchase. Advice?

Ripped it open and reseated it with Arctic 5 - Ryzen Master showing temps of 30 at idle. Ran userbench just to push and it capped at 51. The voltage is at 1.2 though so lots of headroom to play with I suppose. Yeah, definitely the pad. I wonder how it would work laying down a thin layer of...

Question New to AIO - Instantly regretting the purchase. Advice?

I am truly inspired by your post haha! But to be fair, I'm not your typical jump on here ask a silly question and leave. I'm an experienced builder this build will mark my 22nd build and since I have tried new things this time around (AIO, X CPU, etc) I have spent close to three months every...

Question New to AIO - Instantly regretting the purchase. Advice?

I actually ditched the cooler master in favor of the deep cool captain 240ex rgb. Last night after updating bios and GPU I discovered one of my led strips was a different color than all the rest so I'm thinking I have a connector reversed so I opened the case to get at the connection and I...

Question New to AIO - Instantly regretting the purchase. Advice?

Antec HCG850 Extreme 850W 80PLUS Gold i don't think it's an issue, I've used Antec forever and never had any issues before. What could be some warning signs that it's an actual problem? I know there is a button on the back for hybrid mode but I've never touched it. Well I got everything up...

Question New to AIO - Instantly regretting the purchase. Advice?

Yeah that looks mighty nice, but I live in Taiwan and the best paste I can get is Arctic Silver 5, unless I order from Amazon but with shipping that's a rarity. Actually, a friend of mine actually sent me one to try and I have no experience with them, but I figured it would take out user error...

Question New to AIO - Instantly regretting the purchase. Advice?

Hey guys, been awhile but I'm still around and still working on my build. I just finished ripping apart my old PC case and drilling out the rivets and cutting holes with my dremel and painting it up. I took apart the PC and started the transfer only this time with a new mobo (Asus Strix X470 F...

Question New to AIO - Instantly regretting the purchase. Advice?

Yeah that was the first thing I checked. In my Bios it was set like that, but I changed it to DC and to run at 100% constantly. I just watched a youtube video by jayztwocents(tends to ramble a bit) about aio temps and I really learned a lot about how the temperature will spike at first but...

Question New to AIO - Instantly regretting the purchase. Advice?

Mmm yes I've looked at custom loops and the costs of the blocks have been as much as the entire system. I was under the impression though that even a basic aio would outperform an air cooler, but it seems I was mistaken in that regard, which is why I used the term dabble. I heard over the years...

Question ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming or the GIGABYTE X470 AORUS Gaming 5 WiFi, for my Ryzen 2700x CPU?

Asus x470 F hands down. The VRM's are quite sturdy and can handle a 2700x overclock. There is also a built in heatsink for the M.2 which you will find is pretty nice. Don't really care for the clothing tag on it though.

[SOLVED] Which of these VR setups are superior and reasonable?

If you ever have any doubt plan on the quest because none of that will matter. From what I've seen in the videos - the gameplay looks to be about the same as the rift CV1.

Question Help Needed - RAM XMP Profiles for ASUS Maximus XI Hero MOBO Error and BSOD with GSkill TridentZ RGB Ram

I was also able to get all 4 sticks running but only at 3000 and it was not stable, it would run fine for awhile but as soon as I stressed it with anything (aida, prime, 3dmark) it crashed. I contacted G.Skill and went back and forth over and over and finally just got fed up. I never had an...

Question New to AIO - Instantly regretting the purchase. Advice?

Yeah I already bought another aio _ the captain 240 and actually bought another board the strix x470 f, but I haven't had time to install them yet. I think I misspoke when saying the vega underload stayed at 30, i meant idle. Running VR games it usually goes up to around 48- Under load with this...
