I have built a new PC, and I have encountered a bizarre issue.
I have 3 identical SSDs (Samsung 970 Pro 1TB) in a non-RAID setup, partitions: C, D, E.
The C drive is active permanently.
However it happened once that the D & E partitions disappeared and only reappeared after a restart of...
So for some reason or other, my motherboard seems to not have a cmos battery present, does that mean that I'm unable to save bios settings at all, or does it mean they will be reset every time there is no power in the mobo?
what are these setting for in my miniforums um5600xt's bios
an what do they do an can they be adjusted an if so by how much ?
is SmartShift is TurboBoost etc.
an is ther a way to disable turbo boost at set a near static value like 3.8 or 4ghz
an is one of those setting a voltage control
Question: What dose everyone use for best performance and great undervolting?
Is this a good and safe settings for Ryzen 5800x3D for longevity

For 6700K (and likely other CPUs too) there is a CPU current limit option that can be set to 255.5 which means no current throttling
But why 255.5 and not 256 or 300? What's the deal with that 0.5?
So really what is the "physical" meaning of 255.5?
Is it in Amps? Like If i set it to 100 does...
