Desktop Icons

I'm currently using Windows 10 and there's a minor and slightly annoying behaviour with my desktop icons. I usually sort my desktop icons by alphabetical order, and for a few months now, Windows seems to always leave a one-space gap when it loads up the icons on startup. I usually just re-sort...

So my desktop icons will rearrange themselves when I clean my keyboard. Is there are particular sequence of keys that would do that? Ive only ever noticed it after I clean the keyboard and I have also ensured that auto arrange is off along with other things. Any ideas?
