Hi all, I’m in the UK … my son has bought a PC with an Asus B550-plus motherboard and a Ryzen 3 3100 3.6 GHz processor … unfortunately the GPU has failed so he needs to source an affordable compatible card … can anyone recommend what would be a good fit (I’m pretty sure the PSU is a Corsair 450) ?
Hello fellow PC Enthusiasts,
I have a problem on my Overclocking setup,
I boosted my RYZEN 3 3100 at 4.1 GHz and it can't get down at it's base clock of 3.6 GHz.
My Power Plan is already at the AMD Ryzen Balanced but it still can't go down at it's idle speed.
I used the AMD Ryzen Master...
Hello, so I just bought a r3 3100 and MSI b450m pro-m2 max last week. When I turn on the smart fan is fine but when I turn it off my pc start to lag but when I check the task manager the CPU is fine and the temp too. Does anyone know the problem?
CPU: AMD Ryzen 3 3100
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 Super
RAM: 16GB DDR4 3600 MHz
As the title suggests, my PC is not running as it should. I know I don't exactly have a supercomputer but according to various YouTube videos with PCs of these specs, my PC performs to around 50% of the levels...
So, from the title, my query is, which one is better. I want to make a PC for school work right now. I already have a GT 710 to pair with the 3100. But I am going to be getting a decent GPU when the prices drop in my country, India. So, i just need to know which one of the 2 is better in raw CPU...
Hello I'm new to upgrading cause I bought my computer pre-built. I currently have a Ryzen 3 2200G and I want to upgrade it into Ryzen 3100 just to give me a few boost in performance. Will my motherboard support this CPU or do I need to buy a new board?

hi,
my computer turned off out of nowhere when i was just browsing the web and now it doesn't turn on. the CPU fan starts and keeps running at full speed despite no post & no boot, with 5 short beeps playing at 10-15 seconds after i press the on button.
from what i've read the 5 short beeps...
First of all thanks in advance for your help and suggestions, I'm new to the forum yet I've been reading your posts for a long time.
I just upgraded my PC from an i7 2600k OC 4.3Ghz to a Ryzen 3 3100 no OC yet, since graphics card's prices are a bit up right now I decided to move my RTX 2060...
I'm aware that the GTX 1660 Super has NVENC technology, so I'm wondering if streaming would be fine with a Ryzen 3 3100. I'm trying to save as much money as possible, so if it would work just the same as the 3600 then I'd like to use the 3100.
From what I know, streaming is CPU intensive, but I was told by a friend that the 1660 Ti has streaming capabilities built into it. Is it a better idea to go with the 3600 and plain 1660 or 3100 and 1660 Ti? I would swap the 3100 with a 3300x, but who knows when that will be back in stock at MSRP.
Pretty stupid question but i found a prebuilt with a ryzen 3 3100 with an A320M- A PRO and when i checked MSI compatibility for the motherboard zen 2 cpus were there.
Can it really support Zen 2 CPUs?
In October 2019, I bought Asrock A320M HDV R4.0(Ryzen 3000 Ready) motherboard and paired it with Athlon 200ge and added Crucial 8 GB DDR4 2400 MHz RAM and 1TB Hard Drive. For power I added 80+ 600 watts PSU(ZEB PGP 600W Premium Gaming Power Supply).
I was using this system till now(11 months till...
I bought ASUS EX-A320M Motherboard bundled with AMD Ryzen 3 3100 but cannot find PSU true rated 700w with 6 pins. I do not plan to use a separate GPU card and do not plan to do gaming but GIS and some photoshop only.
so the price for x570 and b550 wifi version is same .....
so should i go for x570 or b550 with ryzen 3100 .
Also which ssd should i buy...or should i buy nvme ssd .
Hi I have recently built my first gaming rig. My cpu is Ryzen 3 3100. While assembling I have attached and removed the stock cooler many times because I couldn't get all 4 screws to fit properly. After that eventually it was done by closing the screws in cross pattern. But during that I removed...
Hi everyone, planning to upgrade from my 2200g, which processor should I buy in these two? They are roughly the same price if I buy them in my country, I was thinking of the 2600 but I actually don't do edits that much, I also mostly play CSGO and other esports titled games.
Note: The 3300x...
Cpu-Z frequency: 798.4 Mhz (DDR4-1596)
Its ddr4 3200mhz ram and only running at idk... I enable XMP profile 1 like a guy told me on a forum and still running slow?
I was wondering which is the best option for my budget gaming PC. They're both the exact same price where I live (€109). Oh, and the Ryzen 3 3300X is also an option for €130. Worth the higher price?
I'm looking to upgrade from the FX platform to the new Ryzen 3 3300x. I've read online that B450 motherboards (which are the cheapest) will work with Zen 3 after a bios update but it's unclear whether motherboard manufacturers are releasing new motherboards with this updated bios for Zen 3...
I'm planning to build a affordable gaming/(part time)work pc, I don't know what processor should I pick. If I should wait for the ryzen 3 3100 or go buy the ryzen 5 2600 or wait for the ryzen 4000 series? Thank you!
