Hey guys, I currently have a build in mind and am wondering if you guys could help me tweak it to maybe shave a bit off the price without affecting perfomance too much. The parts are:

I know there is no PSU but I have another thread asking for help on that aspect, some input here would be nice too as I have linked the actual parts here. My only real preference here is the 7870. I'll be willing to change other parts if I can bring the overall cost down. I'd like a new monitor, haha.
Edit: Oops, looks like my prospective HDD has gone out of stock, I'll have to try to find another
Thanks.

Hmm, thanks. I'll look into that.

Also would I be able to get a cheaper mATX board that is as good as that board?

Thanks

Your motherboard barely supports your CPU.
It might throttle under load.

This will be better.

The CPU is the same, just lower clocked. You can get it up to 4GHZ easily in less than a minute.
The motherboard will allow you to reach a higher clock speed.
You also get dual channel RAM which will boost your performance by a LOT.
The graphics card is faster.
The case is higher quality.

Also, if you can spend a bit more, go with the AMD FX 8320. It's a big step up.

Looks like a nice balanced selection. Nice prices too.

Thanks for the input guys. Could you recommend a PSU for that build? Something budget but won't blow up my machines haha.

Any more suggestions are welcome, thanks!
