0ct017 memory upgrade

Hello, I am upgrading from a 1.8gz core 2 duo to a 3.06gz wolfdale E6600 cpu on a Dell mobo (0ct017) and I would like to know what the best memory to install would be. Any help would be very appreciated.

If there isn't anything wrong with your current RAM, use that. If you are going to increase the RAM, use RAM with the same number of pins, voltage, speed, and latencies. If your RAM does not have a sticker attached showing that info, you can use various utilities to get it, e.g. Everest.
