i have upgraded from xp to vista on my acer laptop but my wifi wont turn on help help help

If you are relying on Vista drivers instead go to the acer site and look for a Vista driver there -- failing that if you know which chipset is used go to chip maker's site.

You may have problems thru choosing Vista -- it wasn't in use all that long and people realised it was doomed soon after release so some makers couldn't be bothered to provide drivers.
