%100 CPU usage on Xhamster

Hi,

Today I was browsing on Xhamster, one of the largest porn tube site. Yet suddenly I heard unusual fan noises from the case and I checked my CPU temps from Realtemp and also opened the task bar. CPU temp was around 70 and according to task bar CPU usage was %100 and chrome was using %49-50 of the whole CPU tasks (there was only one tab). Then I checked some other video streaming sites such as Youtube and Redtube but nothing; the problem seems to be related with Xhamster. Yet as it is one of the most common porn tube sites and usually its coding is above the average, I wanted to ask the tom's hardware community to be sure.

Reproduce what exactly? If you ask if it happened once again after a restart, the answer is yes. I closed the tab and re-opened Xhamster and CPU usage jumped once again. But this didn't happen on Youtube or Redtube.

Then it would seem to be something with that site.
Above average coding or not.

Reproduce what exactly? If you ask if it happened once again after a restart, the answer is yes. I closed the tab and re-opened Xhamster and CPU usage jumped once again. But this didn't happen on Youtube or Redtube.

Closing the tab or browser doesn't count. Unless you tell it not to, Chrome actually stays running when you close it. Restart PC and try it. If that doesn't help make sure you run virus scan. If that finds nothing, just avoid the site until they figure it out.

I ran a virus scan on Malwarebytes and also scanned via Hitman Pro. Nothing has been found. I guess it was about the site. Thank you anyway!
