APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: April 9th, 2020
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Mostly for gaming; but I do plan on using the new build for some light HD video processing and editing, music production, and a few Adobe CS4 programs.
PARTS NOT REQUIRED: (Cooler Master HAF 922, Das Keyboard, Logitech MX518, 21.5" Samsung 1080p Monitor, Harman Kardon 2.1 Stereo Speakers, Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit, and an Intel 40GB SATA II SSD )
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: Mainly Newegg, but I'm not opposed to picking up parts from my nearbey Microcenter COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: US
PARTS PREFERENCES: I'd like to stick with brands that have better reputations. I know a lot of people on these threads like Asrock, but I'd prefer to go Asus, Gigabyte, EVGA, or MSI. Now, in terms of the processor, I'd like to stick with intel, but I know from a cost/performance perspective that I should go AMD. :/ What can I say? I'm curious to try out Intel's new processors. +D
OVERCLOCKING: Yes SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Yes.
MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920 x 1080
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: I've done some research, but I feel I could most certainly benefit from some advice and input from the knowledgeable users here on the TH forums =) Here's my preliminary collection of components. I've already obtained the Case and an SSD to boot. Ive got a little over 1k to spend on the components for this build; the budget is firm. I'm trying to build a setup that can be overclocked, is Crossfire ready, and can play most current games at higher settings.

Thanks for reading, and I appreciate and will make adjustments to my build from the input I receive here.
