Hey everyone!
So I got a 1050ti today and installed it onto my aroris X470 Aoris Board with a Ryzen 7 cpu (no gpu) 🙁. using a VGA to Display cord, I get no signal on my television. It worked just fine with my RX580 card. I'm trying to set up two displays. The HDMI is recognized on my other monitor just fine. I installed the Nvidia drivers from Asus and see the NVidia control Panel. Any suggestions?

Could be conflicting drivers. AMD and nVidia sometimes don't play nice with each other. Back in the day, people used to buy a cheap nVidia card to run PhysX with an AMD card. nVidia changed their drivers to detect when an ATi/AMD card was present and made it so the PhysX card wouldn't run. They wanted PhysX to be exclusive to their cards.

I'm sorry NightHawk I'm not sure what that means. One end of the cable is VGA which plugs into the television and the other end plugs into the display port. There's no actual "adapter" it's all one cable. I'm not sure if I'm understanding the question.

I don't know much about it either but i found this so maybe you can read it before he replies.

From what i read it sounds like your adapter is active if it is DP to VGA for sure.

There are a lot of passive DP to VGA adapters that don't actually work, so it's not necessarily active. It should not be assumed; people buying the cheapest DP to VGA adapter they see on Amazon or Alibaba here and it just not working because it's not an active adapter is a common problem.

Can you link where you bought yours or at least a picture of it?
