Question 1050ti vs 1060

What is the best way to get more fps from these two??

1. GTX 1060 3GB with 1080p monitor
1.GTX 1050Ti 4GB with 768p monitor.
$$ I mostly care about fps count $$

The 3GB 1060 is stronger, but not by a whole lot.

A 1050TI at a lower resolution should net substantially more FPS than a 3GB 1060 at 1080p, IMO.
