Question 1070ti or 2070

I have a gtx960 currently and looking to upgrade to a 1070ti but nowhere nearby seems to have them and online they seem pricey compared to a rtx2070. I havent really looked into RTX line yet was hoping someone could weigh in on if i should hold out and find a 1070ti or jus go for the 2070

A 2070 is pretty much on par with a 1080 + Ray Tracing. A 1080 is somewhere in the region of 10% better than a 1070TI....

What resolution are you looking to play at? a 2060 or 1660TI would be a solid step up from your 960 and more than capable for 1080p....

In most current games, a 1070 Ti should perform roughly similar to an RTX 2060, so it's certainly not worth paying as much as a 2070 for one. Since that card is not being manufactured anymore, supplies are becoming limited and the prices of the remaining stock have risen, so you should get a 20-series card instead.

If you can get a 1070 TI get that save up and wait for price drop later
