[SOLVED] Only 10mb connection on ethernet ?

When I connect to my network on ethernet I get 10 megabits a second max but my brother's computer gets speeds of 200+. At the moment I am using a wifi card because it allows me to get speeds of up to 50Mb. I have also tested it in other rooms to see if it is to do with the port in the wall but it does not seem like it. This leads me to believe that it is something to do with my PC (I have tried re-installing LAN drivers and if you needed it my motherboard is B450M-A). Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Could be a number of things:

-Bad LAN cable
-Length of LAN cable
-Port on the router is speed limited
-Your PC port is not configured correctly...ie, port sensing is disabled, a hard speed cap is optioned
