Hi everyone,
I'm in a dilemma right now. I found 2 displays in my budget right now which is around CAD$500 or less. I would love a high refresh rate with low response time display with good colors (so like a VA panel for example would be the best option I'm guessing). So what I'd really love would be 1440p 144Hz since I have an RTX 2070. I usually get around 140 fps to around 230fps in most games. It really depends on the games. I really don't plan on doing any really serious gaming tho. My two options that I really like right now are (remember it's in canadian dollars):

Asus ROG Strix XG248Q: https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_700_1103&item_id=130692 (1080p but 240Hz)
MSI Optix MAG27CQ: https://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=22_700_1104&item_id=119966 (1440p and 144Hz)

My PC psecs are:
CPU: I7-7700K
Cooler: Noctua NH-D15
Mobo: MSI Z270 SLI Plus
RAM: 32GB Corsair 3200MHz
GPU: Asus ROG Strix RTX 2070 O8G
Dirves: 500GB WD Black SN750 and a 1TB WD Blue
Case: NZXT H500I Black

I was wondering if you guys maybe had any other suggestions or which one I should chose form in between both of them. At this moment, the MSI one is on sale at 499$. That's why I'm considering it. Thanks!

If you don't mind going a little larger on the display, this is the one you REALLY want, that is within your budget. I've done some pretty extensive research in this area before purchasing mine, and if there had been something better in this price range, I would have gone with it, but there isn't.
