144hz Or 1440p

My Monitor Now Is An Old Samsung SA550 60hz
So My Question Is That Should I Go With A 144hz Or 1440p I play Games Like Heroes And Generals,BF4, Warframe, And Some Rpgs And Mmorpgs. I Dont Play Competitively Just A Casual Gamer.

This isn't something you can really compare since they are two completely difference things. 144hz is a refresh rate, 1440p is a resolution. I will say, if you are an fps gamer you will benefit from 144hz, assuming your pc can maintain frames that high. Your build should still be able to maintain 60 fps at 1440p. If you care about how smooth gameplay is, get the 144hz monitor. If you are fine with 60fps, get the 1440p.

Well considering you're not using it for competitive reason... I'd go with the better quality honestly.
