I play valorant mainly, and I only get 350fps on average (low settings), compared to online benchmarks, my pc should get even 500fps, My monitor is 360hz and my fps drops bellow that alot, my ram xmp is ON and cpu ghz is 5.3 everything is good, I tried disabling hyperthreading and it makes no diffrence. Is it my motherboard issue for not being a z790? In gpu heavy games like r6 siege I find no issues, I get my expectations and also warzone.

my question is: Is 350fps average on 1080p normal on valorant?

1080p
14600kf (aio 360mm)
z690 taichi
32gb 6400mhz
4070 super
1tb nvme 3600 speed
750w gold psu
win 11

Turn on G-Sync and it won't matter if you don't maintain 360. Unless you're a pro (even then it makes little to no difference, you can be at over 120fps and have more than a good experience than probably 70% of players.

You have a good set up, better than many people out there. Stop focusing on the numbers and enjoy it. Unless it's giving you problems, there is no problem.

There are my afterburner results:
Average framerate : 359.5 FPS
Minimum framerate : 219.6 FPS
Maximum framerate : 479.5 FPS
1% low framerate : 106.6 FPS
0.1% low framerate : 6.0 FPS

This guy has a worse gpu than mine and 600+ fps average

You would need the same exact in game settings as him and the same exact game version. A update can change FPS.
He never showed his settings.

Might be as simple as going into the Nvidia control panel and configuring for maximum performance. By default things are set to quality for better image reproduction.

But generally, you really need to go through and optimize the game itself as well.

True well said, but it actually frezzes when it goes bellow my refresh rate, idk if it's my monitor problem, now i downgraded nvidia settings to 240hz and i got rid of that stutter

He shows like 20-22% usage on the CPU which means that at default the CPU will consider that too low of an usage for the whole CPU and will run at low clocks, maybe even sending the game to the e-cores because the usage is just so small.
You have too choices, go into bios and disable all the turbo and speedstep stuff so that all cores always run at full speed, or second option set affinity for that one game to only run on 4 threads on the p-cores, maybe even less, you need to experiment to find the best setting that will not cause big drops when there is lots of stuff going on. Maybe even do both options at once.

I have the same cpu usage on low settings, I tried disabling hyperthreading in the bios leaving only the Pcores running, it doesn't make a diffrence in my fps results, i also tried process lasso to give valorant Pcores only and the ecores for my browser/discord/apps. also no diffrence, I tried many ways like xtu overclocking, i saw about 50fps+ and that's it, besides this i guess this is all my pc could achieve that's why I got disapointted

I have this ram 16x2 https://www.xpg.com/uk/xpg/dram-modules-lancer-rgb-ddr5
my motherboard's max ram speed is 6400 so when I do 7200mhz with xmp my pc crashes, and honestly i have no idea to oc ram or tune them in the bios.
also im pretty sure my 14600kf should perform just like your 12900k on such cofig i have.
Nah, ram tuning gives a lot to of performance. Im running 7000c32 manually tuned ram so im not sure your 14600k on XMP can catch up.

so my mobo max ram speed is 6400mhz and i havve a 7200mhz kit butmy mobo is capable for heavy oc, but i have no idea how to manually tune ram timing and voltage, last time i tried was too complicated.

Okay, but what's the problem with 350 fps that you are getting?

Btw, there is something very wrong with your setup I think. Why is your 14600k hitting 80% usage on the video you posted? You have HT off?
