You have the wrong RAM. That RAM is tri channel meant for a socket 1336 build and you want dual channel. Also the gtx 580 is outdated now. It's a power hog and is way behind the new generation cards out now. Another thing...that CM EVO cpu h/s comes with a small tube of MX-4 thermal compound which is about as good as it gets so you can take that Arctic Silver off that list also.

We must be reading different reviews. The 670 mops the floor with the 7950 and beats the 7970 in more games than naught and does it for cheaper.

That RAM is DDR3 triple channel RAM. It's meant for Intel socket 1336. That's the only socket that utilizes triple channel RAM. Socket 1155 utilizes DDR3 dual channel RAM.

triple channel comes in three sticks, dual channel in 2 or 4 stick sets. It's the same reason you cant put a round peg into a square hole. It just doesn't work.

Nope because then you will be running in single channel and not dual channel. Either get 2 sticks or 4 sticks.

That's your standard 1155 issue RAM. One set = 8GB of RAM (2x4GB). That's plenty of RAM unless you plan on doing some hardcore video editing, CAD, etc...
