Bump Mapping (Environment) Not Supported

I ran 3dmark 2000 and i got 1826 marks
the only thing it couldnt do was the bump mapping
but my score was 1826
I have a Duron 800
128 megs of pc-133
Riva TNT 2 pro
What would cause these low scores?
Im running Win me

ideas?
I have direct x 8 installed latest drivers 4 everything

Riva Tnt2 pro = low score. Might be other problems, but after all, it is designed primarily to test your video card. As a tip, if you are running the det3 driver for your tnt2, consider switching back to the last det2. Your card doesn't really benefit from the enhancements of the d3's, it only suffers a little from the increased overhead.

What resolution did u run the test at, at 800/600 16 bit with a creative tnt card on a p3 933 I scored close to 3000 and in the low 2000's when i bumped the resolution to 1024/768. You said you were using dx8, with what drivers?
you may want to go to geforcefaq.com and take a look at the drivers and what they have to say about em. the most current nvidia official release is 6.50, however i recomend the 6.49 for stability. and the 7.x and above are the ones that are set up for dx 8.
IDEA, uninstall dx8 put back the dx7a and run the 7.49 drivers and then check your scores.
then dl coolbits and oc that bad biatch

TNT2's don't run well with Detonator 3. You need Detonator 2 for speed.

Someone in these forums posted the version number that corresponds to the last Detonator 2 but I can't recall the exact number (but it is 5.xx).

I will provide an update later.
