[SOLVED] 1ms ips vs 0.4ms tn

I’m looking at getting a new monitor. currently using a 1080p 27” 165hz 0.5ms tn panel and want to upgrade to 1440p, but I’m stuck between going for a 1440p 27” 155hz 1ms ips panel, or a 1440p 27” 155hz 0.4ms tn panel. So my question is should I go for the better colour or the 0.6ms of response time? Is the 0.6ms that much of a difference? I’m leaning towards the ips panel but wanted some others peoples opinion. Thanks.

You can't tell the difference between 1ms and 0.4ms.

Tbf the difference between 1 and 4 is negligible and even then any advantage is destroyed by the ping

Those response times are probably not even comparable. This video shows that unless you have a very detailed analysis and good testing methodology it is really pointless trying to compare response times published by the manufacturer.
