Question 1st Gen Ryzen5 1600x support StoreMI?

In AMD website StoreMI release note for the B450 says it supports only 2nd and 3rd generation Ryzens!
Does the Ryzen 5 1600x support StoreMI?

I thought it would work only on B450/X470/X570 boards, which yours is. It's free to download so just try it to see if it installs.

It does work pretty well and especially for things like launching games stored on a spinner. But if anything happens to either drive you lose all the data on the StoreMI volume since it does not mirror anything, it actually moves the most used blocks of files to the SSD and deletes them from the spinner while leaving the rest of the file on the spinner.

for this mobo it does work.... its 570 mobos does not work with 1XXX seires....
I cannot find anything that stops you.... TRY IT!

I agree with @drea.drechsler AMD Store Mi works pretty well, i have a 500gb ssd and 2Tb hdd and i see improvement to the hdd.

Back to you question, sure it works, install latest chipset drivers, windows updates, and bios version. Last step is to download the app.

In x570 is true ryzen 1000 series don't work, anything else will work with store mi. In my case running R5 3600 and b450 mobo

I failed the first attempt. It was stuck when the computer restarted! In fact there is also a guide video for the new version of StoreMI! The StoreMI interface has been changed, new options have been added, but there is no video for this new version!

Maybe you miss something in the steps, i don't think so but. What cappacity is your SSD? Recommended to use as """cache""" is 500Gb unit. Try both versions, the older one and the newer one.
